Israel Itinerary
- Pre-game Fellowship Dinner in NYC on Monday March 19
- Day 1 go to airport together as a group, Check in and proceed to terminal to Depart for Tel Aviv
- Day 2 Arrival in Israel to Drive to Biblical Caesarea, Dinner by the Mediterranean Sea and tour of Caesarea, Drive to Tiberias, arriving mid-evening, Check into hotel and relax!
- Day 3 Breakfast at hotel, Private briefing on Golan Heights and Syrian border with military analyst and professor, Maj. Elliot Chodoff, Drive into the hills of northern Israel to meet a Christian host family for a delicious home-prepared lunch in village of Gush Halav. Visit Mt. of Beatitudes to read and celebrate Jesus’ words overlooking the Sea of Galilee. Visit Magdala, an exciting new archaeological discovery of a synagogue dating to time of Jesus in the town of Mary Magdalene. Visit Capernaum the setting of many of Jesus’ teachings, warnings, and miracles. Sunset Boatride on Sea of Galilee. Dinner at Decks Restaurant o Spend night in Tiberias
- Day 4 Breakfast at Hotel, Meet with Father Gabriel Naddaf, a prominent Christian leader from Nazareth, hear about life for Christians in Israel. Drive south to Jerusalem. Lunch in the colorful Machne Yehuda Market. Check into Jerusalem hotel and refresh o Visit the Western Wall of the Temple Mount at sunset to celebrate the beginning of the Sabbath with hundreds of Jewish Israelis, Sabbath dinner together with a wonderful host family in Jerusalem. Spend night in Jerusalem
- Day 5 Breakfast: Hotel and Exclusive talk and Q&A with Palestinian-Israeli journalist Khaled Abu Toameh. Short drive to Bethlehem Visit Bethlehem Baptist Church, learn about Christian life there, Lunch at the Grotto Restaurant in Bethlehem. Meeting and Q&A session with Christian Palestinians o Visit the Dead Sea shore o Free time in evening o Spend night in Jerusalem hotel
- Day 6 Breakfast at hotel o Tour of Jerusalem’s security fence and neighborhoods it affects, learn about Israel’s security challenges. Lunch at a wonderful restaurant in Jerusalem’s Old Train Station, Visit the Mount of Olives and Garden of Gethsemane. Visit the Southern Steps, which led to the Temple in Jesus’ time, read Psalms here, overlooking the archaeological site of the City of David o Dinner together in Jerusalem. Spend night in Jerusalem
- Day 7 Breakfast at hotel, Meet with Calev Myers, founder of Jerusalem Institute for Justice o Visit the Garden Tomb for worship and Communion together o Visit Yad Vashem, Israel’s Holocaust Memorial o Drive to Tel Aviv o Check in at Tel Aviv hotel o Dinner together in Tel Aviv. Free evening in Tel Aviv
- Day 8 Breakfast at hotel. Segway tour of Tel Aviv oceanfront and Jaffa. Lunch in Tel Aviv Market. Free afternoon for shopping, swimming, relaxing. Visit Jaffa amphitheater, taking in the view of Tel Aviv before dinner o Farewell dinner together in Jaffa. Take bus to airport for flight to USA
